The X1 Series is a FDM printer that can print in a variety of plastics.

• it is faster and more affordable than the Markforged printer

• it can print multiple colours/similar materials in a single print by automatically switching between filaments with its single nozzle

Step 1: Get Trained!

To use this equipment:

1. study training materials

2. get 100% on equipment quiz

3. get 100% on general safety quiz

4. attend a practical (check Meetup, email owners)

5. get marked as trained by a trainer

Step 2: Take the equipment quiz - you must score 100% to proceed.

Step 3: review the Makespace safety training

Step 4: Take the Makespace safety quiz. You must score 100% to proceed.

Step 5: Sign up for a practical assessment

First, watch this video that shows all the practical skills you will need to demonstrate in the assessment.
